On a recent trip to Croatia, these photographs were taken in Dubrovnik and Stari Grad on the island of Hvar. I found the simplicity of these scenes brought to life through textures and colours. Each place gave me sense and a opportunity of stepping back into the past. opportune meaning an adjective (of a time) well-chosen or particularly favorable or appropriate : he couldn’t have arrived at a less opportune moment; well-timed : the opportune use of humor to lower tension.
